Dr. Louise Earley
Dr. Louise Earley (BSC hons, PDIP, DClin Psych) is a consultant clinical psychologist who has worked in mental health since 1994. She is registered with the HCPC, the Practitioner Psychologist’s governing body. She is a member of the British Psychological Society and the Division of Clinical Psychology and a member of ACHIPPP.
Until 2013 Louise worked in the NHS and has led and managed therapeutic services for looked after children in the Midlands providing child psychology services, training, consultancy and supervision to professionals. Louise began her private practise in 2010. She has considerable experience of working with organisations including Local Authorities, schools and residential children’s homes providing psychology consultation, training and supervision.
Louise’s clinical specialties include therapy with children, adults and families. She is trained in an extensive range of child psychological interventions and assessment techniques. Louise undertakes assessments for medico-legal and court purposes and has experience in the family courts. She also accepts referrals from solicitors for assessment or interventions. Louise has a special interest in the field of trauma including children affected by the trauma of abuse, attachment difficulties and looked after children. Dr. Louise Earley aims to meet the psychological needs of children, adults, families and professional agencies following a career of over 18 years working in NHS services. She also provides child psychology services to families, schools, courts and Local Authorities. Dr. Earley also works with adults with psychological needs and accepts referrals form solicitors for psychological assessments and medico legal reports.
