What is Sculptra™?
Sculptra™ is an injectable treatment that works by stimulating the build up of the body’s own collagen to smooth out lines and wrinkles. Why Sculptra?

Does the treatment hurt?
As with all injections you will feel some discomfort. Topical anesthesia is used for all clients and a dental block can be used if required.
What must I bear in mind after treatment?
Aftercare instructions include massaging the treated areas of your face in the first five days after treatment. All you need is five minutes, five times per day.
Are there any side effects?
The most common side effects with this treatment are bleeding, tenderness, pain, redness and bruising or swelling at the site of injection. These effects usually resolve in 2-6 days.
Are the results immediate?
At your first treatment visit it may appear that Sculptra™ has worked immediately because of the swelling from the injections and the water used to dilute the Sculptra™.
In a few days, when the swelling goes down & the water has been absorbed by your body you may look as you did before the treatment. Sculptra™ takes time to work, results should be noticeable after approximately 6 weeks. Generally two to three treatments may be necessary to obtain the required result. However in contrast to some other treatments which require refresher sessions, at the end of your Sculptra™ treatment the results can last for more than 3 years.
Clinical studies have shown that the results of Sculptra™ can last more than 3 years significantly longer than many other injectable treatments.
